Belinda Krchelich, Oncology Nurse Navigator for the James E. Cary Cancer Center enjoys helping Betty Schoeneman , cancer survivor/thriver picking out a wig. Persons choosing a wig will receive one free wig from the large selection offered through the generosity of the American Cancer Society.

The James E. Cary Cancer Center has recently donated space in the Reflections Boutique to the American Cancer Society to allow cancer patients the convenience of being fitted for a wig onsite or speaking with an American Cancer Society representative. Volunteers from the Hannibal Regional Hospital Auxiliary and the American Cancer Society are staffing the shop from 10am-2pm Monday-Thursday.

Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for cancer patients to have access to our services. Having a resource center located within a treatment facility is always the best and most convenient location for patients. “We are extremely pleased to have worked with the James E Cary Cancer Center, Hannibal Regional Hospital , its auxiliary, and our dedicated volunteers on the project. They have made this resource center a reality”, added Dana Blasé, American Cancer Society.
