Concierge

Buzzing throughout the cancer center, you will see the concierge. In major hotels, the concierge is the one who helps with luggage, directions, and giving information. Likewise, the concierge at the James E. Cary Cancer Center can advise you on places to find items (such as wigs, prosthetics), provide discount coupons, transportation assistance and help to make your cancer treatment experience as pleasant as possible. The concierge also coordinates the Look Good, Feel BetterTM program and the resource library.

Chaplain Services

At the James E. Cary Cancer Center, we recognize that cancer can affect your spiritual health as well as your physical and emotional health. Regardless of what your faith is, questions can arise such as: what is my purpose here? and what did I do to deserve this?  We consider these questions regarding spiritual health.

Our chaplain corp provides non-judgmental, non-denominational spiritual support and visit the James E. Cary Cancer Center regularly. If you don't feel comfortable talking about spiritual concerns, write them down and drop them into one of our prayer bowls.
